Intransigencia
Hace tiempo leí una noticia similar, algo más fuerte que esta, ambas de estados unidos. Yo no sé que pensar ya:
"Two hugs equals two days of detention for 13-year-old Megan Coulter.
The eighth-grader was punished for violating a school policy banning public displays of affection when she hugged two friends Friday.
“I feel it is crazy,” said Megan, who was to serve her second detention Tuesday after classes at Mascoutah Middle School.
“I was just giving them a hug goodbye for the weekend,” she said.
Megan’s mother, Melissa Coulter, said the embraces weren’t even real hugs — just an arm around the shoulder and slight squeeze.
“It’s hilarious to the point of ridicule,” Coulter said. “I’m still dumbfounded that she’s having to do this.”
District Superintendent Sam McGowen said that he thinks the penalty is fair and that administrators in the school east of St. Louis were following policy in the student handbook.
It states: “Displays of affection should not occur on the school campus at any time. It is in poor taste, reflects poor judgment, and brings discredit to the school and to the persons involved.”
Coulter said she and her husband told their daughter to go ahead and serve her detentions
because the only other option was a day of suspension for each skipped detention.
“We don’t agree with it, but I certainly don’t want her to get in more trouble,” Coulter said.
The couple plan to attend the next school board meeting to ask board members to consider rewording the policy or be more specific in what is considered a display of affection.
“I’m just hoping the school board will open their eyes and just realize that maybe they shouldn’t be punishing us for hugs,” Megan said"
Resumiendo, la niña da 2 abrazos a 2 amigos, o amigas, y es castigada con 2 días detenida. Y la madre piensa que es demasiado surrealista como para ser cierto. Y uno de los directivos de la escuela opina que la ley es la ley, puede que sea injusta, pero hay que cumplirla.

"A transit agency chief apologized Wednesday to two teenage girls who were kicked off a city bus for kissing each other.
The girls, both 14, said the driver called them "sickos" after a female passenger complained about their kiss. The driver then stopped the bus along the street and forced them off.
"Removing the girls from the bus was not consistent with our policy," said TriMet General Manager Fred Hansen. "I want to reiterate that we welcome all riders on our system."
The 64-year-old driver also violated company policy that requires operators to call for assistance before removing any minors, TriMet said in a statement.
The driver, an 11-veteran who was not identified, will be disciplined, TriMet officials said, though no details were released.
"TriMet sincerely apologizes to the girls and their families for this incident," Hansen said in the statement.
The mother of one of the girls, Ronnda Zezula, welcomed the apology."
2 amigas de 14 años se besan en un autobús, y el conductor las echa porque una mujer comentó algo de los besos.
Las noticias solo tienen de sorprendente hasta que se lee el país donde sucedieron. Y es que a mi entender, la población de dicho país va a acabar siendo solitaria, sin saber lo que son los besos o los abrazos.
No se si me dan pena, o me dan lástima, o nada de nada. Lo malo es la gente que conozco de aquel país, que es muy buena gente. Pero puede que sean casos aislados, lo cual tampoco me extrañaría demasiado.
